What's New Media- my version

I think that new media is everything that we've been using in the past 10 years that we havent used before. Be it the internet (it was around for over 10 years, but has been used more now than before), social networking sites, such as facebook, twitter and myspace and linkedin. In order to understand new media, we really have to first explain what old media is. Old media is radio, tv, newspapers. Being that we have the ability to obtain every old media facet using new media- the internet, old media has not yet become totally obsolete, but i think that within the next decade, old media will become less useful and less used. Why pay for a newspaper when you can get it for free online, why watch television and pay for cable, when you can watch all the shows for free either on the channel's website or on sites such as Hulu? New Media is what is taking the place of old media in our everchanging world.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Alumah and I am married with a two year old daughter. I love to cook, shop and have fun!

My major is Psychology and I am graduating this semester. I am going to continue my higher education and intend to start my Master's Degree for Education and Special Education this summer. I hope to someday be able to help those children who are in need.

I am currently unemployed, but I am looking for new opportunities until I receive my Master's.
